Aberdeen Sports Village

The New Home of Sporting Excellence for GIS

GIS athletes will soon be able to experience one of the most performance focussed sports facilities in the whole of Scotland when the new Aberdeen Sports Village opens its doors in summer 2009. The new facility, which is currently under construction at the former Chris Anderson Stadium, will act as home to the GIS and many of its support services enabling GIS athletes to train in a truly high performance environment. This exciting development is being funded by two of the GIS local partners, the University of Aberdeen and Aberdeen City Council, as well as sportscotland. You can find out more about our new home by visiting the Aberdeen Sports Village website on www.aberdeensportsvillage.com.
