GIS athlete Tim Baillie (Aberdeen) has been selected to the Scottish Institute of Sport following his outstanding performances last season that saw Tim and his partner Ettienne Stott ranked in the World Top 10 for the C2 class. 

Tim's focus is now very clearly set on gaining a place in the GB squad that will compete in the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

Tim is the 10th GIS athlete to progress to the Scottish Institute since it was founded in 2001. The full graduate list is:
