Rosie Allan (Stonehaven) travelled to Galway, Ireland, for the IACT Irish Junior Open on the last weekend in November, where she competed for the Under 15 Girls title.

Rosie was drawn in a pool of three in the round robin stages where she faced two Irish opponents. Rosie showed good form to ease through both matches without the loss of a set thus booking her place in the final. In the final she was up against the number 2 seed Alvilde Sonju from Norway.

The Norwegian girl was no mtach for Rosie who powered her way to the title with a comfortable 3-0 win only dropping 3 points in the process.

This result has helped lift Rosie to 9th place on the European Squash Federation ranking list for Under 15 Girls.
