At the Dundee Aquatics Meet 100/200, held 31st October - 1st November 2009, GIS Swimmer, Elizabeth Hughes won 16 events in the 15 and over age group. Hughes broke the Scottish age group record for 200m backstroke and the North District junior record for 100m backstroke. Hughes won more golds in the 100m and 200m freestyle, 200m butterfly and 200m individual medley.
