sportscotland institute of sport shooters Neil Stirton, (Aberdeen) and Shona Marshall, (Aberdeenshire) were successful this weekend, each taking bronze medals in their respective events at the Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championships being held in India.

Stirton, and Grampian Institute of Sport shooter, Graham Rudd, came third in the Men's 3P Match, and Marshall, along with Linda Pearson came third in the Women's Trap - which is one of the Shotgun/Clay Target events.

The Championships are the test event for the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games shooting competition and are being staged at the same venue which will host the sport at the Games this October.
