The GIS curlers practice at the Curl Aberdeen Ice Rink to improve their on-ice specific skills. Each athlete follows an individualised annual plan drawn up by the RCCC a central feature of which is regular monitoring involving the athletes being tested in four areas:

  • Physiological Testing
  • Physiotherapy Testing
  • Sweep Testing
  • Technical Testing

The athletes compete both in domestic and international competitions and, if selected, at European and World Championships at their respective age groups.
